Home Inspection Process
Home Inspection
is the process by which a home inspector observes and provides a
written report of the systems and components of a residential
building including;structural components, foundation, roof, masonry
structure, exterior and interior components, heating system, cooling
system, plumbing system and electrical system.
It is not required by
the home inspector to pass or fail a house, give a warranty or
guarantee of any kind, act as a building code inspector or inspect
areas that are inaccessible.
Information for Clients
When getting your home
inspected, we encouraged you to attend the inspection, take notes,
ask questions and most importantly, read the home inspection report!
Clients who plan on attending normally have a better perspective of
the property as well as the inspection report and the home
inspector’s limitations.
It
is recommended by us, the day before your appointment; please have
doors and windows accessible. Items blocking access to crawlspaces /
attics should be removed. Pets on the premises should be contained.
This will ensure a thorough and accurate inspection.
